Dealing with the Tax Authorities
As Benjamin Franklin said - 'Nothing in this world is certain but death and taxes'
We make sure that you comply with your obligations to pay tax, without paying more than is legally due.
For UK businesses our services include managing your payroll and PAYE scheme, accounting for VAT on your transactions, preparing and filing your annual self-assessment tax and corporation tax returns, and tax planning advice.
We can also help you to review your affairs regularly to make the most of available reliefs and allowances and to ensure you save tax wherever possible. Click here for a free guide of the latest tax tips (pdf).
For non UK businesses our services involve the management and co-ordination of your international tax affairs, always with the assistance of local, non UK, specialist tax advisers.
Payroll
We’ve been running payrolls for over 15 years, so we fully understand the importance and sensitivity of this activity. Outsourcing this to us will take a lot of pressure off you. Managing payrolls efficiently requires a close working relationship with the managing director of a business, and this we achieve right from the start.
Our fully managed payroll service can deal with all aspects – administration, staff benefits, expenses claims and reimbursements, pension deductions, weekly or monthly payslips, BACS payments, accounting journals, leaver P45s, year end P60s, and advise on pay and reward structures.
VAT
VAT is applicable to all EU countries, and as our clients have turnovers over £100,000 they are required to register for VAT and deal with the complexities of this tax.
Our service ensures that VAT is accounted for on all relevant transactions, and accurate VAT returns are submitted to the tax authorities for each tax period, normally every quarter.
Annual Tax Returns
As part of our other services, we can also prepare and submit your annual tax returns along with the relevant annual accounts. This would include any corporation, partnership, or trust tax returns that need to be filed, and your own individual self-assessment tax return.
Tax Planning
We believe that it’s most important to consider the tax consequences of your future business and personal plans, and this is an area we would expect to review regularly as tax law changes.
International Tax
For businesses based outside the UK we manage and co-ordinate your tax affairs over different foreign countries. This would always involve the services of local tax advisers, and often the international tax advisers of the larger firms of accountants such as KPMG.
