Crossmount's financial management service is geared to managing the finance function and providing high quality financial and management information to support decision making. We try to make it more about managing the future rather than explaining the past.

We gain a clear understanding of your business, identify the key issues and figures, keep you up to date with what’s happening, plan future actions and provide you with the information and insights you need to make strategic decisions.

This we do by providing timely and relevant monthly accounts, forecasts and reports. We explain what they mean, either on the phone or by being present at your management meetings.

Budgets and forecasts

Budgetting and forecasting, especially cash flow forecasting, is a vital business practice, giving you a road map of where the business is, where it wants to go and how to get there.

Our service normally includes a detailed budget once a year, supplemented by regular forecasts and targets. We use Sage Forecasting software for this.

Both budgets and forecasts are powerful tools enabling the business to manage future results, not just explain past performance.

Raising finance and liaising with the bank

Plans for future growth often require finance, and we can help you to assess the alternatives such as bank overdraft, HP and leasing or venture capital. On an everyday level, we would expect to liaise with your business bank manager.

Financial analysis and advice

As your finance partner we would expect to provide you with ad hoc analysis into all sorts of issues pertinent to your business and advise you of the appropriate actions.
