Bookkeeping

Every business and organisation needs to keep on top of its bookkeeping in order to collect customer debts, pay suppliers and staff, monitor overheads and profit margins, control the cash flow, produce accounts and comply with tax regulations.

We will either process all your data off-site on our own Sage accounting software, or we collaborate with you online using shared software over the internet.

In most cases our clients issue the sales invoices, whilst we enter the data and carry out all the other accounting tasks such as chasing customers for payment, raising supplier cheques for approval and carrying out bank reconciliations.

Management Accounts and Reports

We believe that accurate and meaningful monthly management accounts and reports are vital if a business is to keep on top of its finances and ensure that it is trading profitably.

Usually, we will provide a package of month by month profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, cash flow forecasts, aged debtors and creditors, breakeven analysis, customer sales analysis and forecasts for the remainder of the accounting year.

We will also take great pains to tailor our reports to your business and will happily explain them to you in detail.

Annual Accounts & Company Secretarial

Although our speciality is bookkeeping, payroll and monthly management accounting, we are also able to prepare your annual accounts at the end of the year. However, we often prepare draft annual accounts for your auditors or annual accountants who are separately responsible for submitting the final accounts and tax returns to Companies House and HM Revenue.

We are also able to form companies and carry out company secretarial duties, but again we often work closely with your auditors or annual accountants who are separately responsible for this.
